Hawken Strength Internship

Seeking highly MOTIVATED individuals who have the DESIRE to learn in the field of Strength & Conditioning / Athlete Performance.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • RESPONSIBILITY - You are being placed in a position of great responsibility as a member of this staff.
    It is our duty to Hawken Athletics, Coaches, Athletes, and Parents of Athletes that we are honest,
    focused, knowledgeable, organized, and reasonable.
  • REPRESENTATION - You serve as a representative of Hawken Strength Dept. and Hawken Athletics.
  • MOTIVATED – Desire to learn and contribute to the strength dept. and Hawken Athletics.

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
Strength Coach Intern

  • Sports performance coaches / Strength and conditioning
  • Hands on experience training athletes (high school) and teams
  • Building the training environment: programs, culture, long term development
  • Learn how to program, training workflow, coaching ques for development
  • Experience collaboration between multiple departments regarding athlete development: Strength, Athletic Training, Team Doctors, Athletic Dept., Coaches
  • Discussing and Learning WHY we train athletes in specific ways

SPRING 2022 – Jan/Feb/Mar/April - now accepting applications
SUMMER 2022 – May/June/July/Aug - now accepting applications
